No problem! If you’re running late, show up when you can. If something comes up, I completely understand that things get in the way. I only ask that you not message me on the day to say you can’t come. I understand things happen and I’d rather not be getting anxious about people who can’t make it and can keep my energies focused on those that can.
If you bought a book, please arrange for someone else to pick it up for you. Handling lots of deliveries is something I am not really equipped to deal with and can be really expensive and time consuming. If that’s not at all possible, we can work out if you can come pick them up at a later date.

You get it here. Yes, you have to order now (or soon).
Because the book isn’t being sold in UK bookstores (see below) I am ordering a big batch to ship over to sell limited copies at my launch. This means they will only be ready to pick up on launch day, in person.
I have to order at least a month in advance to get it here on time, and means I can spread out shipping. In terms of costs, I’m not making money of these books. Hardbacks retail at $30. I get some volume discounts but shipping is astronomical right now. I’m setting up to just about break even because I want to be able to hold it in my hands at my launch party.
And if you don’t read books - they make excellent gifts!

The Night Hunter officially comes out July 28th, 2026 in the US - so why don’t I have my party then? Because why not?
I’m expecting the days and weeks around launch to be quite exciting, and anxiety inducing, and wonderful and stressful. I might try fly over to the US to see it in stores so I wanted to plan my launch a few weeks later after all the excitement has died down. This also gives me time to get the books shipped in from the US.

Reviews are quick and free and they make a BIG difference. Publishers watch review numbers as a marker for how well the book is performing (alongside actual sales) and readers look at reviews to figure out what to buy. It really is a free way to support this crazy thing I did.
So please, please consider reviewing my book on Goodreads which is the top review site, you can sign in using your amazon account.
If you have been generous enough to buy the book, great, if you borrow it from a friend, great. Even if you hated the book, I’d rather get another one star than no review. Although maybe don’t leave a super mean text review under your name if you choose that way.
And FYI… plenty of people review books that they read one chapter of and do not finish but throw up a one star anyway. So if you don’t want to read the whole book…but really enjoyed the first chapter...maybe you can say that?

My agent and I made the decision to sell rights for the book in each territory individually. She’s done an incredible job selling my book to Berkley, Penguin Random House, in the US, and to other imprints in Canada, Germany, the Netherlands and even Ukraine, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. However, we haven’t sold UK rights yet. This means you won’t see it in physical bookstores or online in any format (including e-book and audio) unless you set up a US-account.
It’s a tough market, but we’re hopeful that things can change in the future with the paperback release and for future books.
